Turn Left...Turn Left...Turn Left...

Just what the world needs, a Dale Earnhardt Junior GPS! wink

Gotta love some of the voice commands: "Park it, you're there," "In one mile, hang a right." Curious that the picture shows a right turn coming up but the road goes left wink Must be at the track.

cool

I wouldn't mind something like that... I just wish I could change some of the voice options in my c330 (like new voices or at least different sayings)...

and you mentioned it say turn right but the road goes left... I deal with that all the time locally here in Florida, the road veers left for half mile then turn right...

it will be interesting to see what kind of market it attracts.

Ah - I'm Hearing Voices Again

I like the ability to have different voices. Maybe having my kids talking to me when I'm away from home or celebrity (I prefer humor) voices for just around the home area.

I think I would get a kick out of having NASCAR drivers riding shot-gun with me.

Thanks for the posting. I almost didn't make it to the end, but I've got a great crew and support team, my laptop battery almost went out on me, but thanks to HP, and ComED electric, I was able to get a splash of power here at the end to hit the submit button. And thanks Logitech for my bluetooh mouse, and to my sponsors, HP, Dell, Apple, Garmin, ALK, TomTom, Garmin, and my morning Mountain Dew for getting me to the end of the race!

And now, back to your regularly scheduled forum - already in progress . . .

i wouldn't mind it saying

i wouldn't mind it saying "Bust a bee-och ahead instead of make a U-Turn when possible". That would be interesting.

Cool driving slangs i guess. Anyone know how to modify or create your own speech for GPSs?

.

Confusing, not really . . .

This can be confusing, but it is simply telling you that your next turn will be to the right. Look at the distance to the next turn and you now know that in x distance you will turn to the right.

market

It'll attract any die-hard Earnhardt fan... Must likely the Single Female Earnhardt Fan.

Nuvi 660 owner.

It may be cool

It might be cool for the first 250 miles, but chances are it may get lost going down the interstate looking for the right exit. It might even cause your car to have electrical problems towards the end of your journey....

Seriously it may sell some units - but until I hear more a voice isn't going to sell me. I need more data on the UI and map features.
