Magellan RM1412 Flash Update

Magellan has a new Flash (ver 3.12) for the 1412. I loaded it on my one year old unit and noticed that the POI search was much faster. Will test it some more and report back later on.

Note: when I first loaded it, my maps disappeared. I tried resetting, etc, but no luck. I also found that I could not reload my previous flash. Called Magellan support and, to my surprise, almost immediately got through to a tech who quickly resolved my problem.

It seems that the unit must reestablish its satellite fix the first time it's started after the update. This takes several minutes and I just needed to wait until it completed the 3D fix for the maps to reappear.

Magellan appears to have greatly improved their tech support. Many thanks.
