Have you tried these

Lemon Lake, north of highway between Pagosa Springs and Durango. Heard it is good hunting to the South of highway also. Rio Grande Reservoir on Stony Pass road between Creede and Lake City. Se lots of elk up at Oleo ranch, in the same general area, but don't shoot one of the moose. Slumgulion to the east also has a lot of elk.

good luck.

Will be going to Oleo Ranch mid June. no electricty, no telephone, no cells, and no TV, it's great.

ahhh god's land

land of no phones, no tv, just you and the smell of pine!!

thanks!!

stay in Pagosa

and stay at the Springs. Sulphur water hot springs to soak in. OUTSTANDING!

You need to go in summer to scope it out.

Stoppin by the woods!

Ah! You almost made me buy a ticket to Colorado!
But the painfully accepted fact to heartily go to work in the concrete forest sadly holds me back again.
Cheers m8 grin

You should know better.

Sorry but you should know better than to ask for a secret hunting place on a forum of this size.

Sorry Charlie

just over southern border

Goto Dulce NM onto Jicarilla Apache indian reservation with a Reservation tag. Or hunt adjacent areas out of Pagosa Springs. Monster elk and mulies. I've taken 2 cows there for meat. Romaine Woods is an excellent guide.
