Using a map to generate way-points

Does anyone know an online (or downloadable) map allowing one to click on various points on a map (Google, Yahoo or?) and output the clicks as waypoints in one or another of the common GPS file formats?

Google maps has a plug-in for "sending" selected locations to your Garmin. It will "send" it to Favorites.
