Are there any way to add voice commands other than
those listed on Garmin updates?

get Sox.exe

you need to download and unzip Sox.exe, then place it in the POI loader DIR. Then use the direction found else where here at the POI factory, just use search function.

Are you talking about changing the the phrases from "Recalculating" to "I will re-calculate the route" but still spoken by the same choices, or are you talking about celebrity voices saying something new.

Nuvi 660 -- and not upgrading it or maps until Garmin fixes long-standing bugs/problems, and get maps to where they are much more current, AND corrected on a more timely basis when advised of mistakes.

This thread discusses custom audio alerts for POIs (which could be your own voice), custom phrases to be spoken by standard voices, and custom voices. To which are you referring?

I think I have read that you can create files with your own voice.

Try searching this site for custom voice or similiar.
