Question on Lighthouse POI's

Why are some of the states broken up into 2 or 3 files? It would be helpful to have that information in the description. If they were only partially completed when you uploaded them, and you added the missing ones, you can contact Miss POI and have her replace the partial file with a new, complete one.
I, for one would appreciate it (when you have the files complete) if you could make one additional file combining all of the lighthouses in the US into a single file.

Lighthouse Files
This group of files is my first attempt at creating POI files. When I began this listing, I thought that I could only list 52 line items on each page. That is why some of the states have more than one page. I also wanted to be able to display the lighthouses by state and my 7200 can only display a maximum of 52 items at a time. At least that is what I think that it can do. I can go between pages to see the entire state listing.
When I complete the individual states, I will give a complete listing if you still want one.

I would appreciate the availability of a combined lighthouse file for the US when you are finished.
Regarding only seeing 52 on your screen..... If your
7200 is similar to my c530, the screens are limited
to 50 of the closest locations. Since you would be looking at the gps from a particular location, I would think you would want to see the 50 closest.
There is an option to select nearest with which you can change the center location and it will find the 50 nearest to that location. That should meet your objection to combining your files into 1 per each state and also for my single file.
In other words, with a US lighthouse file, I could select Texas as nearest and then show the 50 closest lighthouses.
Also, as I move around the 50 closest locations appear, so if I am in Maine, I would then see the 50 nearest lighthouses.

I understand what you are saying and my 7200 can display 52 closest. Both ways will work. However, in the northeast there are so many lighthouses and lights,that the 52 closest would include multiple states. I can see arguments for either way, and I may elect to store both the individual states and a total listing also.
