Which Garmins Save Routes

Sorry if this is a dumb question, but Google hasn't given me any good info yet.

Every morning I drop my daughter off at school, then my son at the sitter's, and then I continue on to work. I'd like to be able to save that trip as one unit, so that I can view traffic along the route.

But on my Nuvi 205, I need to enter in the three points individually each morning when I start out.

What model of Garmin would allow me to save the entire route and call it up at one time?

Thanks,

Of the new/current models, nuvi 5xx, 7xx, 8xx, 5000, StreetPilot 7200, and Zumo series.

If you go to https://buy.garmin.com/shop/shop.do?cID=134 and put a checkmark in the box of up to 4 models at a time, the resulting chart will tell you which support routes and how many.

Nuvi 660 -- and not upgrading it or maps until Garmin fixes long-standing bugs/problems, and get maps to where they are much more current, AND corrected on a more timely basis when advised of mistakes.

.

Even easier, on the left side of the screen click on the Feature icon. Then select the Multiple Point Routing option towards the bottom. That will show the current units which offer routing.

Keep in mind that some of the discontinued models also have routing and are actually a better buy then the newer models.

How does Garmin decide the 'correct' route?

I just recently starting using my new Garmin 265 and I been driving routes I know well (many over 45 minute drives). Sometimes it takes on me the 'correct' routes and other times I am left scratching my head "What? Thats a silly/slow/round-about route??" I begin to wonder in other cities I go to that I am not familar with, how often will this happen? Any way to give 'feedback' to Garmin so that others are not routed that way?

What are your settings for Navigation/Route Preference (should be "Faster Time") and Navigation/Avoidances?

There will be an odd occasion where it messes up, but not many if you set it up properly. I'm assuming that your location doesn't have a lot of new roads that are not in the current maps.
