POI files on Nüvi 750 and GPSmap76CSx

I have not been uploading large amounts of POI files on the two mentioned GPS until now.
The specifications on the two GPS does not include how many POI files you can upload.
I uploaded (Garmin POI loader, last version) two POI csv-files simultaneously (lets call them two uploads), one with 100 POI and the other with 500 POI. In the Nüvi 750 I found in the folder "User POI" two folders containg only 40 POI of each upload, in the GPSmap76CSx I found them in "Custom POI" almost the same number.
I expected to find all 600 POI. I found the "nearest" POIs, except for one of the upload (the 500 POI upload in the GPSmap76CSx) where I only found the 40 remotest POIs!
I have been looking for an option to expand "nearest" in true distance, without luck.
Where are my POIs?? evil

Nüvi 765T, Nüvi 1390T, Nüvi 2559 and 2695 LMT, GPS12, GPS18 (used in nRoute and Oziexplorer on laptop), GPSmap76CSx, SonyEricsson X1 (For OziExplorer CE maps)

Your GPS will only show

Your GPS will only show the closest 50 or so POIs in your unit.
If you manually change "your" location by searching "near" another location (city) then the POIs you will see will change to the 50 closest to that location !

I have 21,000 POIs loaded and have the same situation !

Thanks a lot. Conclusively: No way of seeing all the POIs, and using a remote POI (one you can't see) for making a route?? surprised

I set up a separate folder

I set up a separate folder, called Via Points, in my Custom POI folder on my PC which I use strictly to force a routing ! The Via points are loaded with your regular Custom POIs with POI Loader. You typically won't have 50 Via points so they will all show when you open up that folder on your GPS. The via points can be generated with coordinates you want to pass thru.

I just use multiple via points to generate a forced route !

Use the "Spell" button to find a remote via point.

Nuvi 660 -- and not upgrading it or maps until Garmin fixes long-standing bugs/problems, and get maps to where they are much more current, AND corrected on a more timely basis when advised of mistakes.
