I found this article rather interesting
It seems like Garmin will shortly be releasing a "connected" GPS for the masses. Just when you thought it was safe to put away that credit card ...
Seriously, a connected GPS from the market leader will surely be a good thing. With faster connection speeds and content availability, GPS is in for some big changes.

Seriously, a connected GPS from the market leader will surely be a good thing. With faster connection speeds and content availability, GPS is in for some big changes.
It looks great. Being hooked up to real traffic is wonderful. But I will keep my "unconnected" Nuvi for now and I will wait to see how much it will be and what the "connection" charges will be. I guess I will never be a trendsetter in that regard.
