While running a backup on my computer, I noticed the software backing up .gmp files. A quick search showed that when I upgraded my new 780 maps to 2009, it appears a Garmin folder was created with a sub folder called Product1 with about a gig of gmp files each in it's own sub folder. Anyone know what these are and do I need to keep them? A search on the site does not bring up any hits for gmp or .gmp
