Has anyone hardwired their TomTom x30 to their vehicle? If so how did you do it?

Hardwiring

My last several vehicles have been GMC Yukons. I haven't hardwired a TT, but I have several radar detectors.I mentioned my vehicle type, because it is very easy on a Yukon. On the end of the dash on the drivers side, there is a fuse panel. I tap into a circuit that is hot only when the ignition is on.
Correct voltage?
Before you hard-wire your TT device be sure to check for the proper voltage required to run it. While it's true that a TT can be plugged into a 12V source using the TomTom adapter, it doesn't operate on 12 volts - there's a drop-down circuit in the plug that reduces the voltage substantially.
Sorry, I'm not exactly sure what the voltage is.

power
Yeah I am sure there has to be a power drop somewhere in there.
