nuvi 750 delayed voice prompts

I have noticed a lag in turn directions on this unit, specifically I am actually driving past the street when it then prompts me to turn at the street I just passed. (I am driving at 30 MPH or less for info). I performed a reboot of the unit and this fixed the problem for a rather short period of time, week or less and then delayed prompts return. Any idea on this problem and are other users experiencing same.

Sounds like you have an older software (firmware) version. The latest version 4.6 fixes this problem. Run webupdater or go to the Garmin site and follow the links to update your software.

It might depend on what firmware you have, v4.1 suffered from lagging and stuttering, it sounds like this may be the firmware you have. But other, later, firmwares also have their issues. See the discussions of v4.1 and v4.6 here:
