Duplicates in Waterfalls.csv and Question on Unique POI Names

Not sure if this is the right forum for this...
After downloading the waterfalls.zip (all US), I was massaging the data in Excell to make all the names unique (to work around that Magellan feature). In doing so, I noticed between 6 and 8 duplicates - same coordinates and same name. Not sure if this is an issue, but thought I would mention it.
On a related note, is there any interest in maintaining POI files with unique names?
BTW, this is a great service for GPSr owners.

Welcome to the site. I know you'll enjoy it and probably become addicted.
If there is ANYTHING related to a POI or POI's, someone here will be interested! But, what do you mean unique names? Unique names in the files themselves? If so, that's usually the users preference with how they like to see them listed or pop up on their unit I think.
...I re-read your post- now I get it. I have a Garmin so it's not an issue with me. But I'd guess it would be a good idea to have another dl option if Magellan's can't handle dupes. But, Miss POI has a lot on her plate(s) so I don't know how she feels about other dl options. I'd bet though that if she had a volunteer...
As for the dupes, make a list & send it to the file maintainer so they can correct them.

It's about the Line- If a line can be drawn between the powers granted and the rights retained, it would seem to be the same thing, whether the latter be secured by declaring that they shall not be abridged, or that the former shall not be extended.

Here's a silly question - how can I tell who maintains a POI file? I looked at the US Waterfalls page and just couldn't figure that out.

I don't see a maintainer for the Waterrfalls-US file. I suggest you send info to Miss POI.
Some of the State waterfalls files have a submitter listed but that person has no e-mail contact listed, as far as I could see !
