I'm new to this so please excuse my newby question...When I attempt to upload a POI file, the 3rd? step on the POI Loader process asks you to choose the folder that contains the POI file. When I browse the options, my hard drives are not listed. The only options listed are my disk drives. I've verified that my remote hard drive is connected and functioning. How do I access it and my POI file?
My Computer
Are you using a Mac or a PC?
On my WinXP PC, I can see all my drives listed if I expand the "My Computer" branch of the folder tree.
Is the drive locally attached or a network drive? What distinction are you trying to make when you state, "hard drives are not listed. The only options listed are my disk drives?"

I'm using a PC. Your comment made me question why you could access My computer where I can't. So I went back step by step. On the second screen, I was electing to save my POI directly to my Garmin. If I switch to "Custom Folder", then I can access all my storage devices. But then how do I get from the custom folder to the garmin?
Folder
I just went through screen by screen and this is what I get when selecting the nuvi device, not a custom folder:
1. Welcome screen.
2. Save Options - I have Garmin Device selected.
3. It automatically finds my nuvi device and displayes the Unit ID number.
4. I select Install new custom POI's onto your device.
5. Select the directory where the data files can be found - click on the Browse button which opens a folder (directory) tree for all the drives connected to your PC. This is where you select the source folder on your PC drive where your csv and/or gpx POI files are stored. The Garmin device is already set as the destination device.
