Hello:
I just want to know if there is any way to change the "recalculating alerts", when there is traffic on my route usually recalculates when there is a delay for 28mins +/- and I would like to change the time to recalculate when lets say there is a 15min delay.
Any help???
Thanks: FRGG
Recalculating alerts
I wonder if the alert only occurs when the time for the diverted route is less than [the time for the current route + the delay time].
Two days ago, I was give a notice of an 8 minute dely ahead so I tried to divert. I was told by Miss Emily that my current route was the shortest timewise and did I still want to divert.

think you're right ...

seems consistent with what I've seen on the 765t ... it seems to reroute only when it would actually save you time.
it doesn't seem to consider your frustration level! LOL

don't think that's what FRGG meant ...

not looking to changes the announcement ... looking to change the perameters that dictate when his GPS will recalculate an alternate route.
At least that's how I read the question ...
YOU ARE RIGHT...
You are right...I'd like to change to a different route when the gps gets to a 15min delay on my way and no to wait until it shows 25+mins delay
.
Not an option, unfortunately.
manually

the unit will only divert when it feels a better option is available, but you can over-ride that manually ... just hit the traffic icon and "avoid" - it will route you around - though you might not save time ... at least you'll be moving!
