Costco Online has the Garmin Nuvi 780 for sale for $249.00 ($349.00 less $100.00) Looks like a good buy.

I have three of the 780s and they work great. Be aware that Garmin has discontinued this line...

Would the 265WT for the same

Would the 265WT for the same price be a better choice or not? Guess it depends on whether you need mp3 and fm transmitter.

The 780 has a MSN traffic receiver 265wt has the Navteq lifetime

The 780 has a MSN traffic receiver & includes 3 months free MSN Direct service and the 265wt has the FM Navteq lifetime traffic receiver so very different traffic option. Navteq is free for lifetime and MSN has to be purchased later after trial ends.

MSN and Navteq similar

I have heard the Navteq and MSN are very similar with respect to their traffic reports (someone told me that MSN gets their traffic from Navteq in some regions).

Depends on where you are

Check the FM traffic vs MSN data for your region. Not the same quality of data depending on where you live. In Vancouver, Canada, it sucks.

I wonder if Burton Cummings will be
