ANY 885t USERS OUT THERE?
I just got mine and am getting used to it. When I went online to register it I got the message "this unit has already been registered" What's up with that?

My Street Pilot 2720 has been a marvellous GPS now for 3 years, but I couldn't pass up the voice activation, next turn, and lane assist features. Don't know how I got along without them

I would like to incorporate the best features of the 2720:
Totally variable detour function
Total miles to final destination
Full time view of current street
four trip logs
automatic prompt of fastest, shortest route feature?

on the 885T. My wife will use on and I'll use the other.

Yes, I just got the 885T a couple of weeks ago and I love it. Performs beautifully. No glitches.

RE: registration

If I were you I'd call Garmin on that registration thing. Is it possible that you got a returned unit that someone already registered?

Nuvi 885T

I'm surprised there is not more talk specifically on the 885t (Did I miss a forum topic somewhere?) Had mine about 6 weeks and have had no problems that couldn't be handled by a few questions to the POI Factory, not the Garmin company. But there is a Garmin Store downtown in Chicago and they do give good info if your in the store face to face. Then there's the guy wrote a guide book dissing some features like the bluetooth (he said he will use his own, thank you). I found the feature excellent. Finally, knock, knock: MSN has given me noooooooooo glitches and data is accurate and fairly up to date in the Chicago area. Anyone else up here having ok MSN use?
