Hi,
Does anyone have the same peculiar problems with 265WT as I had when connected to car charger?
1) 265WT rebooted several times when in congested traffic- seemed unable to reroute. I finally manually reroute and it hadn't rebooted since..
2) The rerouting/recalculating takes dramatically longer than when it is on battery.

Sorry, I can only say I have never seen this. Its only with a charger. Is it the charger for the unit. It could be the charger not supplying the correct voltage.

When on battery, there is no traffic info; perhaps when on the charger and info is available, the unit has to check for traffic info before recalculating . . . ??? Do you have the avoidances set to automatically avoid traffic?
Nuvi 660 -- and not upgrading it or maps until Garmin fixes long-standing bugs/problems, and get maps to where they are much more current, AND corrected on a more timely basis when advised of mistakes.

You may want to call Garmin.I took a trip today of 80 miles one way.Went down I75 and I4 and you know how busy I4 is.My 265 showed the congested traffic and never re-booted on the way there or the return trip back.Did not notice any long delay in re-routing or re-calculating.When it re-calculated due to my error.Shortly after it said recalcuting it was routing me back on the correct road.I was more then happy with the results.I do have the latest firmware update 4.80 and 209.11 maps.
