I hit the where to button on GPS and the unit just went blank, had to restart! never happened before!

Mine has froze on occasion and I have to restart the unit but never black out.

I have occasional freezes which makes me wonder if the unit is sick or maybe I am too impatient.
I hope this has not been repeated on your unit and that it is just one time thing.

mine went black like that.... and stayed black. permanently.

I maybe wrong but i thought i heard that there was a "glitch" with the update 4.60 on the nuvi 7xx ... Some froze up and some went blank
