traffic reciever

i got a traffic reciever for my 255w,i like it and it works great but the only thing i dont like is that if it is idle for a while or when you goto the traffic screen there are advertisements for certain places,is there a way to delete them so i dont have to seem them or do i have to put up with them,i know how to get into the nuvi thru my computer,and i have backed upmy nuvi,so i dont erase the wrong thing and lose it,but i dont want to go into it with out knowing for sure what file to erase,thanks

Sorry, that is the price you pay for free traffic. (pun intended) There is no way to delete the ads.

I havent been able to find anything yet on the net. I think that eventually some will figure out how to remove the ads.
My two cents:
I was little concerned about the ads before I purchased my 755t. Two months later and I don’t notice the ads much.
