How good is the 260w?????

I can get the 260w for about $160 and was wondering how good is it compared to the others in the 2__ series. Is the 260 better than the 255w for example?? Any feedback is good feedback. Thanks.....

Based on a comparison I would probably go with the 255W..Depends on what features you want...

I would look at all the 200

i think its 255w ftw....

looking at the differences, i think im gonna go with the 255w. It looks like its pretty much better in all areas. How do u guys know which ones are the newer models. I thought the 260 would be newer than the 255 but i guess its not.

2x5 = newer

in the nuvi 2xx line, the older models end in 0, the newer ones in 5. However, some 2x0 models are now built with the faster cpus used in the 2x5 line and although not advertised get some improved features.

I have a 260W loaded with the newer software version and it works great for navigation without usless bells and whistles!

the 255w or the 265w?? I was about to get the 255w but i think the 265 has the traffic receiver as well, or am I wrong?? Is the extra $30-40 worth it to get the 265w over the 255w??? Sorry for the rookie questions. Thanks

The 265T or 265WT has lifetime traffic. Traffic is optional on the 255W and you have to buy a receiver. Also the 265WT comes with Bluetooth. The standard screen 265T does not.

Everything that you will need is in the box. The traffic receiver is built into the car power cable.

Based on a comparison I would probably go with the 255W..Depends on what features you want...However I heard about AmazingWatcher.Com which is a free website that will “watch” items for you on Amazon and let you know when amazon has them in stock at regular retail price.

I have the 265WT from Costco. So far I'm satisfied with the product. Even the traffic function works fairly well in Toronto. I read a few comments that this wouldn't work in Canada, but so far it's ok for mer.
