dual mp3 song listing on micro SDHC card...

Are you sure the songs aren't on the card more than once? Maybe different albums by the artist? Do you have some of the same music on the GPS drive?

I have the same sort of set-up, with music on a 4gb sdhc card. I looked through my songs by each artist (I don't usually select songs by artist) and didn't see any duplicates. I deleted all of the music I had on the GPS to keep from having duplicates listed. When I had music on both drives, they did show twice.

You hit the nail on the head. They're were a few songs loaded on my 880, that were also duplicated on the micro SD card.

I didn't realize that it doesn't matter "where" the mp3's are (on the unit or the SD card), they will display in one place and that's within the Music Player interface.

I had that issue with SD from my Palm TX when I had put music on SD and made the mistake of inserting the SD in a card reader while Windows Media Player was active. It duplicated the mp3's to the path it uses by default with its own play list.

So when I used that SD in my nuvi, songs were listed twice if I tried to play them individually. Although, if I selected an album first, it would play each song once.
