Custom POI's not scrolling properly - Nuvi 750

I have created a several custom POI files.

A typical entry looks like this:

-76.291901,36.868575,Doumar's,"1919 Monticello Ave.
Norfolk, VA 23517
757-627-4163
www.doumars.com"

This allows me to have a properly formatted multi-line display of the information when I search for it.

The problem is when I search for the custom POIs along my current route. The first page of locations that are found display just fine. But if there is more than one page (further away from where I currently am), pressing the DOWN arrow changes the distance/direction to the next page, but does not change the names of the locations displayed. However, if I then select one of these, it does show the correct location / information.

Is this something about the Nuvis or is it my file? Can someone point me to an existing file that I could look at that has correctly working multi-line entires.

Thanks

Martin

From the looks of the single entry you have provided, the 3rd field which is used for the name could be the same for all your entries. If this is the case, then the only change you would see would be the distance.

Try redoing the file and changing the 3rd field to add the name of the city or some other item and see it the problem goes away.

-76.291901,36.868575 should be 36.868575,-76.291901

Sounds like you named each poi location the same (Doumar's). Add a number or city after each, e.g. Doumar's #12 or Doumar's Dayton.
