200 vs 200w

I bought a nuvi 200 on black friday and now I can buy a 200w for $20 more than I paid for the 200. I was thinking about returning the 200 for the 200w. Anyone have an opinion on this?
Thanks

If you can return the entry level 200 and get a better unit than the 200 series,I would. Garmin doesn't even list it for comparison to it's other units at the link below.

Prices are dropping fast just shop around a little.

The site you listed doesn't compare because it's an old site that only has the nuvi 3xx series and the 660.

The 200/200W can be compared here: https://buy.garmin.com/shop/shop.do?cID=134

The 200 is still listed as a current model, but I wouldn't be surprised if it's replaced soon by the 205.

re: 200 Vs 200W

To me the larger screen would definitely be worth $20 more.

Larger view, easier to tap buttons on screen, still fits into shirt pocket.

I got a 200W online for 129,

I got a 200W online for 129, but I had completely forgotten about a page I still had open in one of my browser tabs that had a 250W for 118.

I'm almost tempted to just get both.

Thanks for posting the

Thanks for posting the review - I agree 100%. I had a 200w, now have a 205w. Love the 205w much more, especially with the hotfix quick satellite fix.

Depending on what you paid and how much you want to spend, some of the top models are really cheap right now.
760 at Walmart.com for $246.

I couldn't see not getting the widescreen. Even my 250W seems really small after using the built in Nav. in our new Land Rover. I just wish the LR nav was as good as the Garmin.

I have the 255W

So I can't comment on the 200/200W specifically, but I "think" one of the great things with the wide screen is the ability to show the QWERTY keyboard layout. Am I correct that standard 3.5" does not?

My buddy has the 200 and I was impressed with it. I got a great deal on the 205W so I grabbed it. The difference between the standard "square" screen on his 200 and the widescreen is amazing. I'd spend the $20 and go with the widescreen.

Not all wide screens

Some wide screeen models may have the QWERTY keyboard layout, but not all. My older 660 is a wide screen and does not have a QWERTY layout. The alpha layout drives me crazy mad but it can't be changed.
