Install update map to computer

I am trying to install City Navigator North America 2008 Map Update to my new computer but I don't see an option to do this. I know it can be done, it's on the old computer but I don't remember how I installed it last year on the old one. The old computer is XP, the new one is Vista.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Garmin 205, 260W, 1450LMT, 2460LMT, HEREwego for iPhone ... all still mapping strong.

The installation won't

The installation won't continue without the GPS connected. I get a message saying "You must turn on and connect your GPS..." RETRY EXIT

If the GPS is connected then the maps get installed to it, without being connected I can't get past this message.

I have the disk.

I got it installed. I have

I got it installed. I have to thank DorkusNimrod for the help from the "MapSource download tip" thread. It jogged my memory.

You have to run the .msi file, not setup.exe
