I have a Nuvi 350. I was able to load the POIs on my SD card. However, the unit can only see 50 POIs on each category when I browse through the category. I can search other missing POIs when I search for them. So, is there a limit of number of POIs that would show per category?

nearest 50
It seems most Garmin models will hold thousands of custom POIs, but they show just the 50 nearest locations. You can search for the more distant ones using the browse/spell feature.
There's a little more info on this topic posted in this thread.

50 allowed, per Garmin
I wrote Garmin about this. Their reply is that the unit "only displays 50 on the selection page in order to save on processing. If it were to process them all, it would take a very, very long time. Unfortunately, there is no way to change this."

I Cannot see the POI on the GPS Map
Hello,
I have load POI I created on the GPSmap 62s and it seems to works. But when I on the GPS, it doesnt display the POI but I can find them with: FIND ->SUPPLEMENT -> CUSTOM POI.
Anyway I really would like to dispolay them with their name on the map. How can I do?

@kampotguy, first, welcome to the site.
Next, think about this for a minute. If you were to display all of the POIs I have loaded on my 765T, you would likely not be able to see the streets. I have the locations of all of BofA and Regions banks (which includes all of the ATMs in convenience stores, etc. - almost one every block, it seems)
I have these POIs, not because I want to navigate to one in my home town. Rather, I want to be able to find one when I am in another town. In that case, my 765T would give me the 50 closest to my then location and I would pick one.
The 50 nearest would be more than sufficient, don't you think?
