C330 Question

Hi all...newbie here.
I have an old C330 and was thinking about upgrading. The battery as died and it's just time for a new unit. However, I have many destinations saved in my FAVORITES. How do I backup and save those and how do I put them on a new Garmin?

You can still connect the unit to your computer with the USB cable, it will power the unit. You can then use Mapsource to download you favorites, and also use it to upload them to the new unit.

OK...here comes a dumb question...where's Mapsource?

You update it from Garmin, however, you need to have already have it on CD or DVD to install and update. When I got my 330, Garmin would send you the DVD of the Maps installed if you called and asked. I don't know if they will still do that or not.
Hopefully someone else can jump in here and say how to get it. Or you can try to search the forum for "Mapsource" and find a post detailing how to get it and install it.
