Maestro 4250 VS Roadmate 1430

I am in the market for a new GPS after my Roadmate 760 died a few weeks back. I can get a new Roadmate 1430 from Magellan for $195, but I can also get a new Maestro 4250 for about $170. I have seen plenty of input on the 4250, but not much on the 1430. Does anyone have any experience with the either unit? I still have 12 months left of my traffic subscription and Magellan CS said I could transfer my remaining time to either unit.

Hot Buy.

Costco has the Maestro 3225 for $150 at costco.com

Wow

Costco sure has some good prices! I will check that out. I thought it had a smaller screen though.

4250 may not be consistent in quality

I tried a refurbished 4250 from Amazon. Voice Command did not work in NC but seemed to be OK in CA as it was shipped from CA. As soon as it acquired satellite lock and NC state was selected, the voice command would not work. I returned it immediately. My friend's refurbished 4250 seemed OK. A new one may not have issues.
