Recently I have noticed that the Garmin Mount between the back of the unit (680) and the ballhead from the Garmin Bean Bag mount has become loose and the unit keeps pointing down. Anyone else have this same issue. I was thinking of putting same tape on the ballhead or something else to tighten up the space, any suggestions?
Garmin Mount
It may not be the ball, but the socket the ball snaps into. Make certain the metal ring is on the socket.

Thanks for the suggestions
Thanks, I will try them, the other link was very useful.
Ball Socket
I removed the ring and inspected the ball socket. It had hair line cracks and could not be repaired. The socket is not removal on the C530.
If your unit is still under warranty, contact Garmin and return it for replacement.
They turned it around in a week.
