I'm looking for a good site, Where do you get your audio books?

Take a look at https://www.simplyaudiobooks.com/processInterfaceAction.php?... , but don't ignore the obvious -- your public library (which has the best price).

Nuvi 660 -- and not upgrading it or maps until Garmin fixes long-standing bugs/problems, and get maps to where they are much more current, AND corrected on a more timely basis when advised of mistakes.

grin iTune is the best for quality but lacks quanity of choices.

What do you mean by "quality"? As they are digital media, shouldn't they all be identical? The big advantage of Audible is the bookmark feature; pausing results in very erratic restart points.

audible.com is the largest and most well known site for audio books. I believe they also have the largest selection.

If you go to audible.com/garmin you can get a free trial which includes three free books. You can then cancel your subscription if you wish... rolleyes

I found audible fabulous. Signed up for Platinum programme.....left after six months and then rejoined for another short period....made my unit cost VERY reasonable and by "gapping" I was able to download a number of good books at once...personally I like those books that are about 6 hours rather than the full "meal deal". BTW when I downloaded, I transferred to a CD so it saved memory space......also allows me to go back and re-listen to older books from the past.....great for travelling!!
