Nuvi 200 5.0 software

Anybody else try it? I was a little surprised, but happy, that my nuvi came preloaded with 2009 maps. When I first connect it updated the software to 5.0. (can not find any docs on what was changed)
I ask because I am have problems getting the custom poi icons to work. (yes, they all have the same name) I'm also using the Aug 2008 poi loader program.

I've been running 5.0 since it came out with no problems. Tried the 3D view today and the display is definitely behind the actual position of the car when moving at even city street speeds. The voice prompts still are before the turns though with plenty of time to maneuver.

I just applied the update and so far it seemed fine.

I applied it yesterday afternoon and it seemed ok during my drive home from work.
I use the 2D view, so I am not sure if there's lag using the 3D view like someone else mentioned.

I am not sure if I can upload the POI's on my garmin. Where can I get information on how and what will work with my machine?

Your nüvi 200 can accept custom POI files. It can't play .mp3 alerts but there's a lot of info on this site regarding using .wav files on the non-mp3 capable units.
