Red light cameras on ballot in Cincinnati

I work in Cincinnati and the need for traffic cameras on some of the intersections is a great idea - especially if it can nab people who block intersections by shooting the yellow light.

But ... as the article points out there is more to this. While the idea of red light cameras is a good one in my opinion, the implementation and enforecement often is draconian and usually nothing more than a licence to print money. If things were properly enforced then no problem. But as experience has shown this is never the case and Cincinnatit will be no different.

I am sure that this propsal will be voted down.
