Chit Chat Thread for the week of September 29, 2008

This is the place to talk about things that are not gps related, you can discuss whatever you would like, as long as it is clean. Remember we have families that have their children involved in the GPS fun and we don't want to make parents feel uncomfortable when their children ask what that word means.

Have fun...

This thread will be closed on Monday and a new one will be opened.

Rain

Wow, we got a rare thunder storm today in So. Calif. Not much rain but it was nice while it lasted. Most of the rain comes in January-April. Not much else through out the rest of the year.

Usually it is the first thing I do on Monday after I after getting to my office;) Although I like to have fun switching the time around because it seems to be a coveted position to be first.

I may fool you guys some day and set an alarm clock to go off in the middle of the night so I can keep you all on your toes.

I can't become too predictable or I would be boring.

I am on mountain time.

My 760 is starting to get worse.

I guess that update really did it, unless moving to Tampa made it worse.

Atlanta Still Running on Empty

The gas supply is still short in the Atlanta area. Long lines and hot tempers have developed. One entrepreneur was selling cold drinks and sandwiches to drivers waiting in line. At some stations people are just sitting waiting for the tanker to come in. One person interviewed on the news said he spent the night waiting in hopes he could get some of that precious fuel.

Miss POI is taking a sick day today

Yup, I am sick and my brain is fuzzy and it hurts to try to think.

I started to get sick on Sunday and yesterday I tried to work through it, however today it is just not happening. So I am going to rest today. I will be answering emails tomorrow. I will still be keeping up with the forums but trying to do research or manage file issues is just not working for me today.

Miss POI

Get well soon!

We had a 'Subway Series' once here in NY - all I have to say about that is...GO CHICAGO!

Here's hoping you get your wish for Chicago vs. Chicago! Would that be considered a 'Loop da Loop' or a 'Louper'? mrgreen

I think that would be a nice challenge. Go ahead...start your day at 1am MST, I'd only stay up (early) ONE night a week to look for it. I agree with you, too much routine is b-o-r-i-n-g.
