Must haves Florida

Hi to all,

i am form Germany and new in this great forum.

I just bought myself a Garmin 670. I am going to Florida in October and wondering, what would be the most important POIs to be installed on the 670.

By the way, what do you think would be the best places for breakfast with the family in the St. Pete Area?

Here is the link to all of the Tampa Bay area POI files:

If you think of another category you would like to see, let us know and we'll see what we can do.

Take a look at the website below for ideas since I don't actually live near St Pete. It will give you some great ideas for restaurants, beaches and attractions in the area. Then use the custom POI files to help you get there.

charlesd45, I'm not starting a flame war but gees, thru Bradington, Fort Myers, Sarasota, Alligator Alley, Miami, then south another 100+ miles. Would he really travel another day each way.

Treasure Island beach and Clearwater beach are within 10 miles of St Pete.

Bush Gardens is in Tampa about 15-20 miles

Disney, Universal and Sea World are about 50 miles east of Tampa.

Wichi Wachi Springs (under water mermaid show with nature trails and wild life shows) is about 30 miles north of Tampa.

I lived in St Pete about 30 years ago, near Tyrone Mall. Wouldn't know what is there any longer.

Breakfast in St. Pete Beach

My personal favorite is Beverly's La Croisette.
Address: 7401 Corey Avenue, Saint Pete Beach, FL 33706
Phone: 727-360-2253
Friendly, delicious and inexpensive.

Someone else refered him to another file I had on the Florida attractions around mostly central Florida.Wasn't sure how long he is staying. When he stated he was going down in OCT I was thinking he was like me and the other snowbirds going for the winter.Key West is nice to visit.
