Does anyone have 'bus lane' cameras?

I know speed, and red light cameras are common now. A city near me is experimenting with bus lane cameras.

Bus lanes are reserved for buses and bicycles during rush hours. They are usually the lane next to the curb and they are marked with diamonds. The only time a car can be in the bus lane is if they plan to turn right in less than a block.

The city is considering setting up cameras over the bus lanes and mailing tickets to motorists who travel more than a block without turning. I imagine it will be filming motion and someone will have to watch.

The Canadian city of Winnipeg has introduced a new traffic camera to capture images of people driving their vehicles in bus lanes. The city has put up a camera in one of its “diamond” lanes as part of a study to see how many drivers use it when they should not.

...

For the next six months the new camera will keep track of violators, but police will not use the information to issue a ticket. For now, the camera is only there to see if there is a significant problem with non-compliance. After city officials see the study’s results, they will decide whether or not to start using the cameras to fine diamond lane violators.

Bus Lane cameras

I heard a week or two ago, that New York City will install Bus Lane Cameras.

Possible HOV Lane Cameras

Here in AZ, Phoenix area, I seem to recall that I read somewhere a little while ago that they were thinking of installing cameras to monitor the HOV (High Occupancy Vehicle) lanes throughout the valley. The HOV lanes are for vehicles with more than one person inside. It is against the law to use the HOV lane if there is only just the driver in car with no passengers (during certain weekday hours). Installing the cameras would be another way to collect some monies but I think the cameras would have to be pretty sophisticated to be able to determine how many people are in the vehicle and still be able to take a photo (AZ only requires a rear license plate). There was also talk of charging a "fee". You pay to use the HOV lane. I think that just defeats the purpose and shows how money hungry the local governments are.
