780 Lockup w/ POI Files

I have read several post about lockups, but never experienced until lately...
I have used my 780 for several trips, accounting for nearly 3000 miles in the last 6 weeks.... Never had a lock up for the first several weeks... POI files were small.. worked through some early issues...
I now however have experienced 3 lockups over the last 2 weeks on long trips... I have recently loaded RestAreas, Walmart/Sams & Redlight Speed Detection... It was only after I added all of those that I noticed it...
Lockups are infrequent to say the least... They do not occur at the same location.. and generally I will notice that the screen stops refreshing... Nothing will work but to reboot the GPS.. After that everything fine again...
Has anyone else noticed lockups after loading some of these large files?

Check to see what software
Check to see what software version your using. Software 3.10 has been causes freezes and lockups on all 700 series. Luckily we can roll back to a more stable Software 3.00.
