I just noticed a difference, in the Nüvi 7xx, compared with the other units I own.
If a Custom POI has 'Speed' alert (not a Proximity alert), then there is no "GO" button and it therefore can't be used as a destination.
I wonder why the 7xx team decided to implement this? Anybody request it? ![]()
(Other Custom POI functions still work and the Speed alert is functional).

WOW!
That's one HECK of a firmware bug!
Just because things don't go according to plan doesn't mean they arent going perfectly. - .. .. ɐɯɐɯ ǝlɔʎɔɹoʇoɯ .. ..
Weird
For testing purposes I added a speed alert to my 7-11 poi and I don't have the Go Button option. Also keep in mind I’m using software version 3.00

Ah - yes, exactly the same effect. (In that example, the Speed Alert was accidentally set, via the filename).
I wonder if the StreetPilot C3xx team are now the Nüvi 7xx team?
