The file is great, but I noticed that the Palmdale CA location is incorrect, both by experience and by TJs website. The correct location is 39507 10th St W, 93551. N34° 36.010', W118° 8.869'

Thanks for the update on Palmdale, CA. Fixed that file. Also removed the location in Swampscott, Ma. Closed due to the new store in Saugus, MA.

I too just found this POI. The one in my town has a parking lot that is around back that, unless you know it is there could cause major parking headaches.

These coordinates are for the street in front of the ramp to the parking lot.

I am sorry that I have been lax on this POI file, we have been moving into a new house. I don't seem to have enought time in the day like, I had before.
Moving is for young people, not for someone my age!

I was going to wait till June, and if no one had made the updates to the POI, I was going to re-upload the file and include the latest changes.

I don't have the coords but there is a Trader Joes in Redding CA. Lose my confidence in the file when one is missing.

Just for your information, almost all the new locations are posted on the POI page by the members. They submit the name , address, tel #, and the coordinates, all I did was Googled "Trader Joes" and found:

I also called them and they told me that they opened in mid May. So, if I am not notifed that a new one has opened, I have no way to know to post it.

Thank you for doing this, TJ is one of my favorite stores. They have such a great selection of food you won't find anywhere else. One of the few stores I go to without a shopping list, as they always have things I would not have even thought to look for.

I checked the new file, just posted... It's there...

Then I checked the version Downloaded on 5/18/2018, and it's there, too...

(And now I know how to sort alphabetically, too ! )

This was on our old Nuvi 660
We went there maybe 4 times last week, and went past it maybe 20 times... and it never prompted...
but it is there

So then I put in the coordinates from POI file into Google Maps...
Bingo!! it was in middle of parking lot by the bear restaurant across the street...
You were right!

I believe the correct coordinates should be:

but please check that...

As this comes up quite often with POI files of this sort, there will frequently be problems with getting Garmin audio alerts when approaching a location if alerts are set, regardless of the set alert distance. If alerts are desired with POI files like this, the solution is to change the alert from an Along The Road alert to a TourGuide alert.

As much as I drive 90+ miles one way on occasion to shop at a TJs because I like the store, I can't imagine why I'd ever want drive-by audio alerts for shopping there. But then, a TJ's alert would be less annoying than setting audio alerts for McD's, StarB's, fuel stations, etc.

Try putting in the coordinates from POI file, into map....

Those takes you across the street by the bear restaurant, in middle of parking lot, about 200' from Cristie Ave...

I didn't pull into the bear restaurant parking lot, but if I had, I'll bet Trader Joes alert would have gone off...

The file in my 660 is dated around 5/16/2018

The coordinates from that TJ File 5/16/18 is: 37.83764 -122.294

The coordinates from NEW TJ File is different!!
New TJ File dated today is: 37.83698 -122.294

That's the problem... I just thought the file was current... I need to update my POI's in the 660!!!!

Confirmed... New TJ file is correct... older one wasn't...

FYI... The Trader Joe's on Swannanoa River Road in Asheville, NC
has Moved to a bigger Store... It is Next Door to where it was before, using same Parking Lot.... The existing Coordinates still work fine!!!!

Note for current users of the TJ's file. The file has changed from a gpx to a csv, so be sure to delete the previous gpx file in your POI folder. The filename has also changed so check your associated icon or audio alert filenames and change then, if needed.
