Microsoft has released the Windows 10 KB5018410 and KB5018419 cumulative updates for versions 21H2, version 21H1, version 20H2, and 1809 to fix security vulnerabilities and resolve twenty bugs and performance issues.
My machines are updated now.
Related, and a reminder, support for Windows 10 21H1 ends in December. After December 13th, Win 10 21H1 will no longer receive monthly security and quality updates containing protections from the latest security threats. Details are at https://www.bleepingcomputer.com/news/microsoft/microsoft-su....
To determine what you are currently running, open a command prompt and type in "winver" (without the quotes). You will get a graphic showing the current version.
To move to 21H2, the typical procedure of going to Windows Update should also work in most instances.
All went well
I have a few laptops with older versions thanW11 or W10 21H2 which I keep to run some old program that will not run with the latest versions. Guess I'll have to keep a few more machines off of the internet.
I'll have to look at my Win 10 machine. Haven't used the old computer much since I migrated to Win 11.
I second that
