Google "send to gps" gives me title & coordinates only...

I have been surfing gps stuff since I bought this nuvi 350 in May. Yesterday I figured out how to use google's send to gps, but i discovered when i go to favorites and find a "sent" location, i only see the name and coordinates for the location.

i tried deleting and re-doing after entering notes, but still no address or phone number. Is this a Nuvi 350 issue or is there a way to get the addy & phone to come along with the coordinates.

my other favorites i entered the old fashioned way show address and phone. i tried to search here and online in general, but no one else seems to be having this problem that i can find.

Can I do this on a NUVI 350 ?

I want to send a route from Google to my NUVI 350 because I like the route better than the one the NUVI gives me. Can I download it to the 350 ? and If I can what is the procedure ?

350 does not support routes

The 350 does not accept routes, only Waypoints. You would need one of the 7xx series to accept routes.

To the OP, the reason that you are only getting the name is that the nuvi 350 stores the information in a different data field in the GPX file. So, unfortunately, you will have to enter the information manually on the unit with that particular model.

So great to get this information. I'm really likin' my Nuvi and this site is great too. thanks to all.

The send to was so fun, but when I might need phone numbers, I'll have to add the point by hand.

oh wow, i looked at the link re geepeeex editor -- cool. so maybe i'll even be able to learn how to do files and contribute/help out here.
