A Newbie to POI Factory

Hi All

Just wanting to understand this incredible process of downloading POis to my Garmin C340.

1.How can I alter alert distances within a POI?

2. By downloading the POI, will it reside automatically within the route that's active?

3. How can I personalize the POI in Excel after I have downloaded it to my computer.

Setting alerts

If alerts are set they will work while a route is active...

What do you mean by personlize?

You need to look at this node on how to set up subfolders on your computer and transfer them to the gps using POILoader. http://www.poi-factory.com/node/8674 Once you get ready to install from the computer just pick the manual mode instead of express and you will be able to set the alert distance you want.
