Do you or Don't you....TTS

Who uses TTS (text to speech). I've had my 350 for 1 1/2 years and didn't even know it existed. Then my friend got a 260W and I heard his and I was loving it so I finally checked my 350 and it was there! Now I use it on my 650.

TTS

I knew it was there, because the voices that give you the driving directions use it, but I don't know how to make use of it otherwise.

Its ok, more annoying than

Its ok, more annoying than anything. A lot of the name pronunciations are not correct

Nope

My 4210 doesn't have TTS so I don't miss it. 'Sam' just tells me 'Turn left in xxx meters'. It would be interesting to see in action though, I may have to change my mind.

TTS

That is the main reason I bought my Garmin Nuvi 350 nearly 2 years ago (paid a kings ransom for it too). I love TTS, and have graduated to the Nuvi 750 to get the routing capability. Couldn't live without it!!

Must Have

It avoids confusions of turn right in xx feet, and not knowing with road it really means. Sometimes when they are close together it is hard to guess. The other thing I really like is the saying of exit numbers on the interstate...I can keep my eyes on the road and know I'm right.
