Garmin has new update for C530

Hello, I just checked the Garmin website and it has a new update for the c530 and other street pilots. It says that the update was available July 2nd, but I run Webupdater atleast once a week...well better late then never.

I have a c340 and on the Garmin site for my gps nothing showing for new updates.Use WebUpdater and sure enough 6.0 update was downloaded.Did get message you may lose favorites and settings.Checked after download and no changes happen.It is funny about this update I ran the WebUpdater during the weekend and it showed no updates.

I would back up the favorites file as well before I do anything.

It must have been put up late last night or this AM as I went on Garmin last evening and got the 5.9 update. Now today 6 is there.
I've never lost anything following an update although on the C340 it hardly matters as any change to custom POI's requires a reload anyway.

Have you been able to located the changes from 5.9 to 6.0?I can not find anything.

6 for C340
No I haven't noticed anything but then I've only driven about 10 mi. since the "upgrade." All worked well including a couple of Red Light alerts.

Thanks for the info.I have had the 5.90 since May when it came out.Like I posted earlier I checked the weekend using webupdater and got no update.Even now when I pull up my model on Garmin site and check the update page it still shows 5.90 as the latest release.Seeing the orginial post is what prompt me to run webupdater.
