Received the unit today and registered it, had problems using Firefox 3 so was able to do it on Explorer 7. Now I wanted to install some POI's to it using the POI download program but it won't find the device error message says couldn't communicate. Am I doing something wrong? I loaded a POI into my wife's c340 no problem.

Hi,
You need to provide a little more information. In order to download POI's you need to have POI Loader (available for free) from www.Garmin.com. Once you have POI Loader downloaded and installed to your computer then connect your C340 to the computer with the Garmin USB cable. Then start POI loader and download your POIs.I'm assuming you are using a PC because you stated you were using IE V7 if I'm mistaken and you are a Mac person then Garmin also has a free version of POI Loader for OSX.

Thanks for reply, let me clarify this. I'm trying to load POI's into the nuvi 360 using the loader and the error message shows up, I had no problems with the c340 as a matter of fact my wife traveling with the c340 went on a trip today to Virginia and when passing thru DC hit a few red light alerts...way to go red light POI.
