i am trying to list golf clubs.do i need to put them in a exl sheet or go to my locations. i am new at gps and exl.

What GPS do you own?
I just checked my Garmin C530 and in the Favorites > Recreation > Golf Courses it contains every golf course in the area. Are you sure your GPS does not already have that information programmed in from the factory?

Golf courses don't change. Many have been around for quite a long time. Unless a course is in a new upcoming area, the majority will already be on your gps.
