Is there any way to see how much internal memory is left on a C340? Can you delete languages that you don't use from this unit?

Unfortunately, the answer to both questions is no. That unit doesn't present itself to the computer as a USB Mass Storage device, so you can't view the contents of the drive.
The unit has approximately 2MB of space for Custom POIs. You should be able to get between 18,000 - 20,000 POIs in that amount of space.
