What can I do with tracks?

I have a fairly new Nuvi 760 and have recently gotten around to looking at the Tracks feature.
MapSource can upload and download tracks of where I've been. I see that MapSource has some controls to join and divide tracks. After that, I don't see what I can do with them.
Are there any useful things to do with tracks, like turn it into a route? What else can be done with tracks?
Tour your tracks on Google Earth
I like to "fly over" my track on Google Earth. Under View... Select "View in Google Earth". Then click down through the Temporary Places in Google Earth and find the track. Click the track, then select the play button. Other than that, I don't find any other use for tracks.
