POI Package Construction...

I have been finding that some of you, (I won't name names smile) have been re-categorizing your files that are part of a POI Package.

If your project is part of a POI Package please do not put the individual files back under a category after I take them out. The only file that should be categorized is the front page, see the following example:
Publix Stores POI Package located here: http://www.poi-factory.com/node/6014

All of the files that are listed on this page are not placed in a category, only the front page is. The collection shows up only once in the alphabetical list of POI Files so that our list is not obnoxiously long and confusing.

Thanks,

Miss POI

Good To Know!

Interesting distinction. That helps me understand the relationships of the file(s) to the POI package.

Create a Standard

Is it possible that when someone submits a file to Miss Poi she can also modify the title name to standardise everything? Such as instead of (these files do not exist but I'm making them up for an example)

Super Stores located in CT
Super Store's of Kansas
Texas Super Store's
Super Store Locations, California
Super Store's around SD

I think if one person labeled all the files with the same format they may seem less confusing and be easier to locate. Like the Publix files in Miss Poi's example above is great until someone has the state abbreviated or adds other wording to the title.

What do you think?

Create a Standard

Agree fully it would make for a nice looking file ans well as make it easier to locate.

yup

When I make a POI Package I go through the Alphabetical list of files using the search feature to find everything and then I rename them once they are in the package so that things are nicer looking. I still have some more work to do on the state rest areas POI Package.

I am a bit or an organization maniac and like to have order and not confusion, so this week I will be focusing on making the files easier to find. I would like to work on our categories also.

Miss POI

Looks Much better

I thought that might have been what you are currently doing by cleaning house and the Publix file is a great example of good formating. It must be a lot of work to organise all that! It is much appreciated! smile How do we give you a COW award? Do we all just make a vote ? smile

Make it a Holy Cow Award!!!!
