Israel maps for Nuvi

I could not see any maps covering Israel for Garmin GPS.
Anyone knows where I can find any?
Is there any easy way I can convert printed maps to MapSource maps?

I've linked a discussion topic from a few months back that talks about custom background maps.
In this case, the catch is they're only useful to show what's around you (they don't have any road data for creating routes)
