need help

My new car has a plug in for a mp3 player. I would like to connect my nuvi to it to play the audio from the nuvi through the car's stereo system. Can anyone tell me where to buy a wire with double male ends ends so Ican connect the two?

I tried splicing two pieces together so the ends would both be male as a test. this did not work? could my nuvi not be compatible with the mp3 aux input in my car, or is splicing the problem?

It's a splicing problem.

rolleyes

Can you play an mp3 player through your system? If so then the above is true... There is a slim possibility that there is something wrong with the aux jack on your system.
edit there...

I've rarely NOT had a problem splicing this type cable.

Much better solution is to spend 5 bucks
